In their Maine smokehouse in Stonington, located on the remote Island of Deer Isle, by the Penobscot Bay, Stonington Seafood uses genuine Scottish cures and authentic smoking techniques introduced by local smoke master Richard Penfold who moved here from the Shetland Isles in 1997. They create exceptional smoked salmon that is smoked fresh, having never been frozen and they don’t use any preservatives.
